Borders are not advisable because they may appear uneven on the final product due to potential shifting during the cutting process. 

To ensure legibility, the recommended text size varies depending on the font in your file. As a general guideline, we advise using a font size of at least 8 pt. for most fonts. If you're uncertain, it's helpful to print a sample from your home printer to evaluate the font size and decide if any modifications are needed.

To ensure optimal print quality, it is recommended to create your original file at a resolution of 300 dpi, unless it is intended for signage, in which case 150 dpi is acceptable. It's worth noting that images sourced from the internet typically have a low resolution of 72 dpi and may appear pixelated when printed. If you are purchasing an image, be sure to choose a high-resolution version with a minimum resolution of 350 dpi.

When an image has a low resolution, it means there are fewer dots, pixels, or lines per inch. As a result, the print quality is compromised, lacking sharpness and fine details. On the other hand, a high-resolution image with a higher density of dots per inch or pixels per inch produces a clearer and more detailed print.

For optimal results, it is recommended to create your original file at a resolution of 300 dpi, except for signage, which can be created at 150 dpi.

You must extend all images all the way to the bleed lines to avoid any uneven borders or white lines on your image when your product is trimmed.

In the printing process, a bleed is the area of the product that will be removed during the final cutting stage. To accommodate this, we print your product on an oversized sheet and then trim it down. It is important to extend your images beyond the trim line to provide a margin, known as the bleed. This prevents any white borders from appearing on your final printed product. In our templates, the bleed line is marked in grey, and we strongly encourage you to use them to ensure proper bleed in your files.

 

Please follow these guidelines for a quick check of your files:

Text size: Make sure the text is legible and properly sized.


Accuracy and spelling: Double-check that all information is accurate and there are no spelling errors.


Image clarity and DPI: Verify that your images are clear and meet the DPI (dots per inch) requirements. It is crucial to set all elements to a resolution of 300 to 350 DPI unless specified otherwise. Images sourced from the web often have low resolution, which may result in blurry or pixelated prints.


Suggestions for preparing your files:

Grey Bleed Line: Ensure that all background elements extend to the bleed line to prevent unwanted white borders.
Red Cutline: Borders may experience cutting shifts, so it's not recommended to use them.
Green Safety Line: Keep all text and images within this line to avoid potential trimming.
Note: Due to possible cutting shifts, it's best to avoid printing designs with borders. However, if your design contains a border, ensure it falls within the safe zone guidelines and extends to the edge of the bleed line.

File Orientation: Select the proper orientation on the order form to match your files (horizontal or vertical). When uploading files, please note that the right side of your "Front" file aligns with the left side of your "Back" file when printed.

Fonts: Flatten your files and outline all fonts to eliminate the possibility of font variations. Alternatively, you can save your files in JPG or TIF/TIFF formats.

File Types & Color Mode:

Accepted file types: TIF, TIFF, EPS, AI, PSD, BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, and PDF.
For print files, use CMYK color mode unless otherwise specified.
If using an AI file, ensure all images within the file are properly embedded or linked.

In each order, we include a varying quantity of extra prints. If you happen to notice press marks on a small number of prints, typically ranging from 10 to 50, it is highly likely that these are the extra prints.

Please note that we do not make any corrections or changes to the files you provide us under any circumstances. We strictly print from the files you submit, assuming they are already "print-ready". However, we do offer Design services as an option for an additional fee. It is important to be aware that making alterations to regular, non-Design Service orders may cause unintended changes to your files. We want to ensure that the final product meets your quality expectations.

Although we do not offer a 100% color match guarantee, we strive to achieve an 85% color match to industry standards using our printing method.

For a more precise color representation, we suggest converting the colors in your file to CMYK mode. Please be aware that we cannot be held accountable for the colors chosen during the design creation process. If you believe there has been a misprint with your order, please log into your account to report an order issue.

While we make every effort to ensure consistency in the quality and thickness of our paper stocks, it's important to acknowledge that some stocks may have slight variations. Don't worry if you don't have a design program! We offer our convenient Online Designing service for exactly this situation. Our tool provides you with a variety of design elements to assist you in creating your design from scratch if you prefer. Alternatively, you can choose from our selection of pre-designed templates and simply upload your logo, text, and images to complete the design.
